- Dental trauma on deciduous dentition and possible consequences on permanent dentition: narrative reviewPublication . Adda, Feriel Kalai; Gião, AnaThe objective of this bibliographic review is to show which are the possible dental traumas at the level of the deciduous teeth causing repercussions on the permanent teeth to inform the dentists on the types of traumas and their management. This document is a synthesis of all the searches carried out on Pubmed, B-on and Scielo using keywords such as "dental trauma children" or "dental trauma sequelae" has allowed us to select articles in English and Portuguese whose date varies from 2011 to 2020, but also the consultation of a reference book. This synthesis reviews first the way to manage the child after the parents call the dental office following the accident. Then the diagnosis of the different dental traumas as well as the way to treat them will be discussed, followed by the research of the factors that can increase the risks of occurrence of dental traumas as well as the factors influencing the severity of the after-effects on the permanent teeth. Finally, the possible sequelae on the precursors will be listed.
