Abstract(s)
A Hipomineralização Incisivo-Molar é uma anomalia que atinge os primeiros molares e
incisivos permanentes. Clinicamente o esmalte apresenta-se frágil e poroso, originando
uma maior tendência a fraturas.
A realização deste trabalho teve como principal objetivo a realização de uma pesquisa
bibliográfica sobre as principais abordagens terapêuticas que podem ser implementadas
perante lesões de Hipomineralização Incisivo-Molar.
Para a elaboração deste trabalho foi efetuada uma pesquisa bibliográfica de artigos
publicados em revistas e jornais científicos, disponibilizados em bases de dados
eletrónicas no período compreendido entre abril e junho de 2015. A seleção dos artigos
foi realizada mediante o estabelecimento de critérios de inclusão e exclusão estipulados
pelo autor.
A adoção de medidas terapêuticas para as lesões de HIM deve ser estabelecida após a
obtenção de um adequado e correto diagnóstico diferencial. Os tratamentos propostos
para esta condição são de espectro variável, podendo varia desde uma caráter
preventivo, restaurador, protético, cirúrgico e ortodôntico.
A implementação da modalidade terapêutica deve ser sempre realizada consoante o
grau de severidade das lesões apresentadas em concordância com a história clínica do
paciente.
The Molar Incisor hypomineralization is an anomaly that affects the first molars and permanent incisors. Clinically the enamel presents weak and porous, yielding a greater tendency to fracture. This work was aimed at carrying out a literature review on the main therapeutic approaches that can be implemented before the Molar-Incisor hypomineralization injuries. For the preparation of this work was carried out a literature search of articles published in scientific magazines and newspapers available in electronic databases in the period between April and June 2015. The selection of articles was made through the establishment of inclusion and exclusion criteria stipulated by the author. The adoption of therapeutic measures for HIM injuries should be established after obtaining an adequate and correct differential diagnosis. The proposed treatments for this condition are variable spectrum and can vary from a preventive, restorative, prosthetic, surgical and orthodontic. The implementation of treatment modalities should always be carried out depending on the severity of the injuries presented in accordance with the patient's medical history.
