Abstract(s)

O artigo de revisão, intitulado “Equilíbria pela alimentação desde o nascimento: O Aleitamento Materno”, resultou da comunicação apresentada no Simpósio Equilíbria, organizado pela Faculdade de Ciências da Saúde da UFP, por se considerar importante a sua publicação, para a promoção desta prática. O objectivo foi demonstrar que o aleitamento materno, através das características do leite humano e das vantagens da amamentação produz Equilíbria a nível da Criança; Mulher; Família; Sociedade e Meio Ambiente. Conclui--se que o aleitamento produz esse Equilíbria entre cada elemento e entre eles pela sua interacção neste processo. The article of revision entitled: “Equilibrium by feeding since the birth: The Breastfeeding”, resulted of the communication presented in the Symposium “Equilíbria”, organized by the Faculty of Health Science of the Fernando Pessoa University (UFP, Porto Portugal), by considering important the publication, for the promotion of this practice. The aim was to demonstrate that breastfeeding, through the characteristics of human milk and the advantages of breast-feeding produces equilibrium on the level of the Child, the Woman, the Family, the Society and the Ambience. The conclusion was that breast-feeding produces this Equilíbrium between every element and between them by the interaction in this process.
