| dc.description.abstract | Objetivo: Realizar uma revisão bibliográfica com o intuito de demonstrar a aplicabilidade da tecnologia laser no âmbito da estética em Medicina Dentária. Metodologia: Foi elaborada uma revisão bibliográfica, com recurso a bases de dados informáticas como a PubMed, Google Scholar, B-ON, Science Direct, Scielo e Scopus. Foram incluídos artigos de revisão e artigos de casos clínicos com relevância sobre o domínio científico do tema em causa. Descrição do Tema: Com a evolução da tecnologia a laser, este foi introduzido na Medicina Dentária com o intuito de ultrapassar algumas desvantagens que os tratamentos convencionais acarretavam. Com a evolução da estética em Medicina Dentária o rejuvenescimento facial também começou a ser uma área de interesse. Com o laser conseguiu-se realizar tratamentos de Harmonização Facial, através de técnicas pouco ou nada invasivas. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Objectives: To accomplish a bibliographical review in order to demonstrate the applicability of the laser technology in Dental Medicine’s aesthetic. Material and Methods: A bibliographical review was elaborated throught informatic databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar, B-ON, Science Direct, Scielo e Scopus. We included review articles and articles of clinical cases with relevance on the scientific domain of the subject in question. Development: With the evolution of the laser technology, yhis technique was introduced in dentistry with the purpose to overcome some disadvantages that the conventional treatments had. With the evolution of aesthetics in dentistry, the resurfacing has become, as well, a subject of interest with laser, we were able to perform treatments of resurfacing through little or no invasive technique. | pt_PT |
