Abstract(s)
The management of immature necrotic teeth is always a therapeutic challenge for the practitioner for decades. These teeth have thin and fragile root walls with a wide open apex, making traditional endodontic therapy complex. In recent years, new endodontic techniques have appeared in the literature. They would allow the continuation of root development in immature necrotic teeth. To achieve this goal, researchers have studied various techniques: blood clot revascularisation, stem cell therapy, pulp implantation, scaffold implantation, three-dimensional cell printing, injectable scaffold and gene therapy. These treatments may be beneficial as they present the possibility of restoring pulp functionality, making a vital pulp capable of promoting correct apical maturation. The aim of this work is to analyse the different existing protocols of regenerative medicine and especially the one related to revascularisation.
