Abstract(s)
Objetivo: Apresentar uma revisão da literatura sobe os diferentes tratamentos
restauradores em pacientes com Amelogénese Imperfeita.
Materiais e Métodos: Realizou-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica, recorrendo à base de
dados PubMed. Foram incluídos artigos publicados nos últimos 10 anos, nas línguas
inglesa, portuguesa, espanhol ou francesa. A pesquisa resultou em 42 artigos.
Resultados: Encontra-se descrita uma diversidade de tratamentos para os pacientes
atingidos por Amelogénese Imperfeita, no entanto, não existem protocolos padrão por
falta de evidência cientifíca.
Conclusão: São necessários mais estudos clínicos randomizados que se foquem no tipo
e severidade de Amelogénese Imperfeita para determinar a melhor intervenção, tal como,
mais pesquisas para a elaboração de um diagnóstico mais preciso.

Conclusion: More randomized clinical trials are needed focusing on the type and severity of Imperfect Amelogenesis to determine the best intervention, as well as more research to improve the accuracy of diagnosis.
