| dc.description.abstract | Objetivo: Avaliar a pertinência da utilização do laser no tratamento não cirúrgico da peri-implantite. Materiais e Métodos: Realizou-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica recorrendo à base de dados da PubMed. Apenas foram incluídas revisões sistemáticas e meta-análises, sem limites temporais e sem limites línguisticos. A pesquisa resultou num total de 13 artigos. Resultados: Até à data, não existem evidências suficientes que sustentem o benefício terapêutico do laser, a longo prazo, no tratamento não cirúrgico da peri-implantite. Conclusão: São necessários mais estudos clínicos randomizados, com amostras maiores e protocolos bem delineados, para suportar cientificamente o efeito benéfico do laser no tratamento da peri-implantite. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Objective: To evaluate the relevance of the use of laser therapy in the non-surgical treatment of peri-implantitis. Materials and Methods: A literature search was carried out using the PubMed database. Only systematic reviews and meta-analysis were included, without temporal limits and without linguistic limits. The search resulted in a total of 13 items. Results: To date, there is insufficient evidence to support the long-term therapeutic benefit of laser in the non-surgical treatment of peri-implantitis desease. Conclusion: More randomized clinical trials studies with larger samples and well-delineated protocols are required to scientifically support the beneficial effect of laser in the treatment of peri-implantitis. | pt_PT |
