| dc.description.abstract | A obturação é uma etapa importante no tratamento endodôntico, isolando os meios interno e externo para impedir a passagem de bactérias para a região periapical. O material mais utilizado para obturação é a guta-percha, a qual deve ser sempre associada a um cimento endodôntico, cuja composição pode influenciar diretamente a biocompatibilidade dos tecidos periapicais, quando extravasado. Objetivo: realizar uma revisão bibliográfica acerca dos efeitos do extravasamento de material obturador. Materiais e métodos: realizou-se uma revisão bibliográfica nos portais Pubmed, Google Acadêmico, B-on e na Biblioteca da UFP. Palavras-Chave: “endodontic extrusion”, “overfiling”, “root canal”, “gutta-percha”, “obturating material” “endodontic materials”, “overextension” “filling material” Resultados: ao final foram selecionados 50 artigos em inglês, português e espanhol, abrangendo os anos entre 1967 e 2018. Conclusão: o extravasamento de material obturador pode levar ao insucesso do tratamento, com relação ao cimento endodôntico em pequenas quantidades, pode ser considerado favorável, não interferindo no sucesso do tratamento. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The evaluation of the terminal perarpical is a terminal phase in the periapical. The material most used to obtain a gutta-percha, should always be associated with the endodontic seasoning, the exposure can directly influence the biocompatibility of the periapical tissues, when extravasated. Objective: To avoid bibliographical data on the consequences of extravasation of obturator material. Materials and methods: a bibliographic review was carried out in the Pubmed, Google Scholar, B-on and UFP Library portals. Key words: "endodontic extrusion", "overfiling", "root canal", "gutta-percha", "obturator material", "endodontic materials", "superextension", " Results: 50 articles were selected in English, Portuguese and Spanish, covering the years between 1967 and 2018. Conclusion: the extravasation of obturator material can lead to the failure of the treatment, in relation to the endodontic treatment in small quantities, can be considered favorable, not interfering in the success of the treatment. | pt_PT |
