Abstract(s)
Academico, B-on e Lilacs de modo a selecionar estudos comparativos do ED convencional VS ED
Aim: Critical review of the scientific literature showing the relevance of diagnostic waxing (ED) and presentation of a clinical case with AFG technique (Anatomic Functional Geometry). Methodology: Computerized search in the PubMed, Science Direct, Google Academico, B-on e Lilacs in order to select studies by comparing the conventional ED VS digital ED and research with ED thematic books. Result: We selected 18 studies, which met the eligibility criteria and presented positive results with both techniques. The AFG preparation technique offers an easy learning curve that can be overcome through training programs based on manual tooth modeling. Conclusion: The two ED (conventional and digital), performed according to the principles of the AFG school, should be considered positive and encouraging.
