Abstract(s)

As a secondary objective, it is also intended to deal with the new materials and their contributions to clinical practice. A literature search was carried out in different electronic search databases, namely: B-on, Pubmed, Researchgate and Science direct. Full articles on the subject, reviews and studies with human beings in English, Portuguese and French, were included. Articles relevant to the review were chosen by the author according to those that met the established inclusion criteria. It was concluded that pulpotomy and partial pulpotomy are advantageous, in some cases, because they maintain pulp vitality, in a minimally invasive therapy logic. However, they should not replace the Endodontic Treatment, which is the most indicated treatment in many clinical situations.
