Abstract(s)
Este trabalho propõe esclarecer aspetos sobre a elevação do seio maxilar. É um procedimento cirúrgico muito efetivo para incrementar o volume ósseo insuficiente numa zona edêntula da parte posterior da maxila, permitindo assim a colocação de implantes dentários. Esta forma acontece por a perda de volume de osso alveolar e pela pneumatização do seio maxilar. Nos procedimentos de elevação do seio maxilar pode-se incrementar o volume mediante as técnicas cirúrgicas traumática e atraumática, com a utilização de enxertos osseos, para colocação de implantes.
Objetivo geral
Revisão bibliografica na literatura dos avanços nas investigações cientìfica na cirurgia de elevação do seio maxilar para a colocação de implantes, com ênfase particular no papel que desempenham as novas tecnologias.
Análise das diferentes técnicas e suas complicações.
Objetivo específico
Considerar as técnicas cirúrgicas de elevação do seio maxilar para a colocação implantes na reabilitação oral, perante cada caso clínico.
