| dc.description.abstract | Introdução: O objetivo primário da instrumentação é a remoção da camada mais interna da dentina e facilitar a destruição mecânica do biofilme bacteriano preservando a forma original do canal. Na tentativa de satisfazer estas necessidades foram desenvolvidas a XPEndo shaper® e XPEndo finisher®. Objetivo e Metodologia: realizar uma revisão bibligráfica sobre os instrumentos XPEndo shaper® e finisher fabricados em liga MaxWire e dotados da inovativa ponta Booster Tip fornecem grandes vantagens na instrumentação pela sua grande resistência à fadiga cíclica, capacidade de remoção de detritos, adaptação às paredes do canal, percentuais de paredes instrumentadas, angulação de instrumentação, stress sobre as paredes do canal e formação de microcracks dentinários, apesar de uma incompleta resistência à torsão. Conclusões: Neste estudo de revisão bibliográfica conseguimos perceber que os XPEndo shaper® e a XPEndo finisher® são um dos sistemas endodônticos mais promissores no mercado. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Introduction: The main objective of instrumentation is to remove the inner layer of dentin and to help the destruction of the bacterial biofilm, keeping the original shape of the canal. Trying to achieve these objectives were developed the XP-endo shaper® e XP-endo finisher®. Objective and methodology: making a bibliographic review on the insruments XP-endo shaper® and finisher made of MaxWire® alloy and equipped with a Booster Tip, gives greats advantages in the instrumentation because of it’s great resistance to cyclic fatigue, ability in debrides removal, adaptation to the canal’s walls, percentage of instrumented walls, instrumentation angulation, stress on canal’s walls and formation of dentinary microcrack, despite an incomplete resistance to torsion. Conclusions: In these bibliographic review we managed to understand that the XP-endo shaper® and XP-endo finisher are one of the most promising endodontic system in the market. | pt_PT |
