Esta revisão sistemática de artigos estuda as aplicações do Alendronato tópico em odontologia
possível no consultório. É dividida em três partes. Uma que lembra as bases sobre os
bisfosfonatos e o ciclo ósseo para compreender o estudo; uma que relata as ações dos
bisfosfonatos sobre o metabolismo ósseo, e uma discussão sobre as utilizações em odontologia.
O que se pode concluir após a investigação é que nas diferentes formas existentes da
periodontite, depois de uma extração ou na colocação de implantes, o Alendronato foi eficaz
no processo da regeneração do osso perdido sem apresentação qualquer de efeito adverso.
This systematic revision of articles is about topical application of Alendronate in odontology into the ambient of private dental clinic. It is reviewed in three parts. The first one is reminding onto basics about bisphosphonates and the bone cycle to understand this study; the second one is about the relationship between bone and bisphosphonates and the third one is a discussion about their use in odontology. What we can conclude after the investigation is treating different forms of periodontitis, after an extraction, or collocating implants, the Alendronate is efficient in lost bone regeneration without evidences of side effects.
