Abstract(s)
A Harmonização Orofacial é uma vertente clínica que procura integrar o sorriso com a estética
facial, articulando-se com estratégias antiageing muito procuradas na atualidade.
Este trabalho tem como principal objetivo a realização de uma revisão bibliográfica sobre
microagulhamento facial e Plasma Rico em Plaquetas.
Foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica, preferencialmente nos últimos 10 anos, com as
palavras-chave: pele; plasma rico em plaquetas; microagulhamento; rejuvenescimento;
harmonização orofacial; estética facial; anatomia facial.
Tendo em conta que o microagulhamento consiste na realização de microlesões na pele, que
irão facilitar a penetração dos agentes terapêuticos, como o Plasma Rico em Plaquetas e
predispor à renovação celular e à produção de colagénio e elastina, é notória a potencialização
dos resultados com a combinação destes dois tratamentos. Aqui se eleva o conceito de:
bioestimulação da produção de colagénio.

This work has as main goal the accomplishment of a bibliographic review about facial microneedling and Platelet-rich Plasma. A bibliographic search was executed, preferably in the last 10 years, with the keywords: skin; platelet-rich plasma; microneedling; rejuvenation; orofacial harmonization; facial aesthetics; facial anatomy. Given that microneedling consists of making microlesions in the skin, which will facilitate the penetration of therapeutic agents, such as platelet-rich plasma and predispose cell renewal and production of collagen and elastin, it is notorious the enhancement of the results with the combination of these two treatments. Here the concept of: bio-stimulation of collagen production is raised.
