Abstract(s)
Os instrumentos fraturados em endodontia representam uma condicionante para o sucesso do tratamento endodôntico, assim sendo para se alcançar um tratamento eficiente, é imprescindível planear a melhor abordagem clínica possível.
A presente revisão narrativa tem como objetivo analisar e comparar as abordagens clínicas para a remoção de instrumentos fraturados do canal radicular com o intuito de entender qual o procedimento mais eficaz, de modo a permitir um melhor tratamento endodôntico. Adicionalmente, este trabalho tem como finalidade ficar a conhecer a etiologia, os fatores de risco e as medidas preventivas da fratura dos instrumentos endodônticos.
Foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica de artigos publicados nos motores de busca PubMed e B-On. Foram definidas palavras-chave, critérios de inclusão e exclusão para a seleção dos artigos. Além disso, também foram utilizados como fonte de informação, três livros.
