Abstract(s)
radiologia.
O médico determinará a etiologia do canino afectado para identificar as diferentes causas
patológicas responsáveis da falha da erupção do canino afectado. Após ter estabelecido o
diagnóstico, o médico escolherá os diferentes tratamentos. Seja a exposição cirúrgica com o
desenvolvimento do espaço receptor do canino conservando o dente vivo, seja a colocação
tratamento do canino incluso
In the course of engaging in the occupation of dental surgeon, every practitioner will encounter the case of retained canine. This condition calls on cross-disciplinary knowledge around pathological anatomy, genetics, surgery and orthodontia as well as radiology. The practitioner will determine the aetiology of the retained canine in order to identify the different pathological causes responsible for the irruption of the retained canine. After having established the diagnosis, the practitioner will choose between several courses of treatment: either the surgical clearing of the receiving site of the canine while keeping the tooth alive or by pulpotomy, allowing a spontaneous irruption or through a surgical-orthodondic setup with the positioning of an arch. and in cases with poor prognosis and no other viable treatment. Included canines are a pathology found in dental clinics requiring in relation to the age of the patient, a treatment plan decided by the dentist. The objective of this work is to identify the pathogenesis of the canines included and to choose the therapeutic decision adapted to the clinical case presented by the patient. The doctor should therefore mobilize all his knowledge to properly learn how to proceed with the treatment of the included canine.
