| dc.description.abstract | Objetivos: Avaliar as complicações periodontais associada à tração ortodôntica com mini-implantes e miniscrew. Métodos: Foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica de artigos científicos publicados nas bases de dados PubMed, Cochrane Library, Science Direct e B-on. A seleção dos estudos foi direcionada através da análise do título, do resumo e leitura integral do artigo. Foram selecionados estudos através da estratégia de pesquisa PRISMA, ensaio clínico, ensaio clínico controlado randomizados, estudos comparativos, estudo caso-controlo e estudo de coorte realizados em humanos, idioma em inglês e que abordem a relação entre a tração ortodôntica e as complicações periodontais. A avaliação da qualidade metodológica dos artigos incluídos foi realizada através da ferramenta preconizada por Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) com ferramentas da avaliação critica desenvolvidas e validadas para esse propósito. Resultados: De acordo com esta pesquisa literária efetuada, dos 8033 encontrados apenas foram elegíveis 1955, tendo 11 estudos incluídos nesta revisão sistemática após a aplicação dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão estipulados. Conclusões: As complicações periodontais mais comuns associadas a tração ortodôntica com mini-implantes foram: peri-implantite, inflamação gengival ao redor do implante e reabsorção radicular. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Purpose: periodontal complications associated with orthodontic tension with mini-implants and mini-screws. Methods: Bibliographic research of scientific articles published in the electronic databases PubMed, Cochrane Library, Science Direct and B-on databases was conducted. The study selection was directed through the title, of the abstract and full reading of the article. Studies were chosen through the research strategy PRISMA, clinical trial, randomized controlled clinical trial, comparative studies, case-control study and cohort study conducted in humans, an English language that addresses the relationship between orthodontic tracing and periodontal complications. The evaluation of the methodological quality of the articles included was performed through the tool recommended by Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) with critical assessment tools developed and validated for this purpose. Results: According to this literary research, of the 8033 found and eligible only 1955, 11 studies were included in this systematic review after the application of discretion of inclusion and exclusion stipulated. The analyzed studies were scrutinized regarding the relationship of the placement of mini-implants and mini-Screw with the problems at the periodontal level. Conclusions: The most common periodontal complication associated with orthodontic traction with mini-implants were: peri-implantitis: gingival inflammation around the implant and root resorption. | pt_PT |
