Abstract(s)
O tratamento endodôntico convencional ou a cirurgia apical são muitas vezes as
opções para o tratamento das lesões periapicais, sendo o tratamento endodôntico o goldstandard e a cirurgia em último caso.
Com a evolução de várias técnicas e de materiais existem outros métodos menos
invasivos que a cirurgia apical e com menos efeitos adversos.
O objetivo deste trabalho é realizar uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre as patologias
periapicais, nomeadamente sobre a sua etiologia, a sua classificação, o seu diagnóstico e as
suas formas de tratamento mais eficazes contemporaneamente, focando principalmente nos
métodos menos invasivos para tratar as mesmas.
Conventional endodontic treatment or apical surgery are often the treatment options for periapical lesions. The first being the gold standard and apical surgery the last option. With the evolution of techniques and materials, there are other less invasive methods than apical surgery and with less side effects. The goal of this study is to do a literature review about periapical pathologies, namely etiology, classification, diagnosis, and treatment methods, manly non-invasive.
