Abstract(s)
Resultados: Dos 265 registos iniciais identificados, 22 artigos foram incluídos na scoping review referentes a 10 instrumentos de avaliação da ansiedade face à COVID-19, a saber: Anxiety and Fear of COVID-19 Assessment Scale, COVID-19 Anxiety Scale, Coronavirus Anxiety Scale, Coronavirus Anxiety Syndrome Scale, Corona Disease Anxiety Scale, COVID-19 Inventory, Anxiety Subscale of COVID-19 Life Events-Anxiety Inventory, Coronavirus Pandemic Anxiety Scale, Corona Virus Anxiety Scale e o Pandemic (COVID-19) Anxiety Travel Scale.
do MCD é o Coronavirus Pandemic Anxiety Scale.
portuguesa.
Background/Aim: During COVID-19 pandemic, a set of COVID-19 anxiety assessment tools emerged. The variety of tools raises uncertainty about the volume of material available. Furthermore, the nursing focus “Anxiety” was recently addressed on a Clinical Data Model (CDM), in Portugal. Thus, the aims of the study were to map the body of literature on COVID-19 anxiety assessment tools designed for adults, and their psychometric properties, to identify those validated for the Portuguese population, as well as to identify the assessment tools closest to the CDM. Methods: First, a scoping review was carried out based on the model developed by the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) and in line with the PRISMA-ScR guidelines. The search was performed, on 24 June 2021, in the following databases: CINAHL®, MEDLINE®, Scopus® and Web of Science Core Collection®, as well as in gray literature: OpenGrey®, Gray Literature Report® and RCAAP® and the reference list was searched to find other relevant articles. Second, assessment tools composition was compared to the CDM. Results: Of the 265 identified records, 22 articles were included, which addressed 10 COVID-19 anxiety assessment tools: Anxiety and Fear of COVID-19 Assessment Scale, COVID-19 Anxiety Scale, Coronavirus Anxiety Scale, Coronavirus Anxiety Syndrome Scale, Corona Disease Anxiety Scale, COVID-19 Inventory, Anxiety Subscale of COVID-19 Life Events-Anxiety Inventory, Coronavirus Pandemic Anxiety Scale, Corona Virus Anxiety Scale and Pandemic (COVID-19) Anxiety Travel Scale. Cronbach's α coefficient ranged between 0.736 and 0.947, test-retest reliability ranged between 0.70 and 0.91, and total explained variance ranged between 57.46% and 67.64%. Only the Coronavirus Anxiety Scale has been validated for the Portuguese population. Coronavirus Pandemic Anxiety Scale was the closest to the CDM. Conclusion: The present study provides a synthesis of COVID-19 anxiety assessment tools. In the future, it would be important to undertake a systematic review of this topic. Furthermore, since the Coronavirus Pandemic Anxiety Scale is the closest to the CDM and therefore, the most focused on nursing diagnosis “Anxiety”, it would be important to validate it for the Portuguese population.
