Abstract(s)
oral é sujeito a forças mastigatórias e é exposto a substâncias altamente corrosivas. No
utilizando as “palavras-chaves” estabelecidas. Em suma, na realização da presente
dissertação, foram utilizados 28 artigos científicos.
The tribocorrosion process for titanium dental implants is inevitable. In the oral cavity, dental implants are exposed to masticatory forces and highly corrosive substances. However, titanium by a spontaneous process when exposed to the environment, its surface (TiO2), becomes very stable. This oxide layer can be disturbed by various phenomena. This dissertation aims to determine predisposing factors for the development of tribocorrosion and what may be the biological consequences of the release of metal ions in tissues as a possible alteration of implants longevity. For the execution of this review of the literature, a research was developed between March and July 2018 with electronic bases PUBMED and B-ON, using the established "keywords". In conclusion, 28 scientific articles were used in the present dissertation.
