Apesar de a obra de António Aragão ser muito vincada por um humor satírico e bastante cáustico,
o romance Um buraco na boca traz um tom mais disfórico e marcado pela perda, numa vida que
vai surgindo em fragmentos de tempos e memórias nem sempre ordenadas e, definitivamente, nem
sempre com espaço para um riso sobre a ausência.
Although the work of António Aragão is very creased by a satiric and quite caustic humor, the novel A Hole in the Mouth brings a more disphoric tone, marked by loss, in a life that arises from fragments of times and memories not always ordered and, definitely, not always prepared for a laugh about the absence.
