A prótese parcial removível retida por implantes é utilizada em alguns casos de medicina dentária. Tem como objetivo principal a reabilitação protética, sendo que o objetivo é aumentar o conforto, estabilidade e retenção da prótese parcial removível retida por implante em relação à prótese parcial removível convencional.
Esta revisão bibliográfica mostra quando é possível fazer este tipo de reabilitação, o posicionamento, a inclinação e comprimento do implante na arcada. Bem como o tipo de attachment, altura do pilar do implante e as forças aplicadas no próprio implante.
Com os diversos artigos revistos, este trabalho tem como objetivo perceber as vantagens desta opção e quando deve ser aplicado, verificando as principais melhorias tanto para o paciente (bem-estar) e também para o médico dentista (retenção e longevidade do tratamento).
Removable partial denture with implant is used in some cases in Dental medicine. It has as main goal the prosthetic rehabilitation, in which it intends to raise the level of comfort and stability of the removable partial denture with implant comparing with the conventional removable partial denture. This bibliographic revision shoes when it´s possible to do this kind of work, the position, the inclination and length of the implant, as well as the kind of attachment, abutment high and the stress on the implant. With the articles revised, this work has as main goal to understand the benefits of this option and when it should be used, checking the main improvements such for the patient (well-being) as for the dentist (retention and duration of the treatment).
