| dc.description.abstract | A reabilitação por meio de implantes dentários, a fim de substituir dentes faltando em diferentes situações clínicas, tornou-se uma terapia frequente na Odontologia. As taxas de sucesso vêm aumentando devido às novas técnicas e tecnologias, no entanto, inflamações peri-implantares são uma das complicações mais frequentes que afetam os tecidos moles e duros circundantes, podendo levar à perda do implante. Portanto, estratégias para prevenção e tratamento da doença peri-implantar devem ser integrados em conceitos modernos de reabilitação odontológica. O objetivo deste trabalho foi através de uma revisão de literatura estudar o conteúdo disponível sobre os aspectos clínicos, etiologia, parâmetros de diagnóstico, fatores de risco, bem como opções de tratamento e terapia das doenças peri-implantares. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Rehabilitation by means of dental implants, in order to replace missing teeth in different clinical situations, became a frequent therapy in dentistry. Success rates have been increasing due to new techniques and technologies, however, peri-implant inflammations are one of the most frequent complications that affect both the soft tissue and hard tissues, which can lead to implant loss. Therefore, strategies for prevention and treatment of peri-implant disease should be integrated into modern concepts of dental rehabilitation. The objective of this paper was to review the available content on clinical aspects, etiology, diagnostic parameters, risk factors, as well as treatment options and peri-implant diseases therapy. | pt_PT |
