A Stamp-technique (ST) é uma técnica de restauração dentária que permite, com a ajuda do desenvolvimento de um negativo da face oclusal do dente, realizar um tratamento de Lesão Cariosa (LC) preservando a anatomia dentária inicial. Os objetivos desta revisão narrativa, foram comparar os diferentes protocolos da ST e procurar as suas relevâncias na prática diária da Medicina Dentária. A pesquisa bibliográfica foi limitada aos últimos 25 anos, aos artigos escritos em inglês, francês e português, e um total de 28 referências bibliográficas foram utilizadas na redação desta revisão. Os estudos de casos analisados demonstraram que a aplicação clínica da ST, confrontando vários protocolos diferentes, permite uma reconstrução estética, durável e funcional. Os limites da literatura foram atingidos devido à natureza recente desta técnica.

The objectives of this narrative review were to compare the different ST protocols and investigate their relevance in the daily practice of dentistry. The literature search was limited to the last 25 years, to articles written in English, French and Portuguese, and a total of 28 bibliographic references were used in the writing of this review. The analyzed case studies showed that the clinical application of ST, confronting several different protocols, allows an aesthetic, durable and functional reconstruction. The limits of the literature were reached due to the recent nature of this technique.
