Abstract(s)

To this end the professional can be bring to correct these osseous defects by the use of filling materials. These grafting materials were developed to set an alternative against the autologous bone, the gold standard material due to its osteogenics properties, but problematic in its use because it is limited to the possible quantity available from another site, thus increasing the complexity of the procedure, these complications and restricions. The purpose of this article will be to review various of these substitutes, among which we have the allografts, xenografts and the large group of the alloplastic grafts with the aim of comparing them by the revision of studies about their properties, characteristics and clinical efficiency.
