Este trabalho trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica de artigos, estudos e publicações
sobre facetas de cerâmica e técnicas de preparo. A principal motivação para essa
abordagem foi o autor da presente pesquisa trabalhar nesta área, e o estudo deu-se para
que pudesse melhorar os seus conhecimentos para a aplicação desses tratamentos. O
objetivo foi fazer uma revisão completa da literatura sobre o assunto e falar mais sobre
técnicas de preparação. No que diz respeito às suas indicações, contra-indicações,
vantagens e desvantagens, planejamento, moldagem, cimentação e, com especial
atenção, os tipos de preparações. Após um breve histórico - abordando o uso desses
materiais, foram expostas características dessa técnica, planejamento, características de
preparo dentário, protocolo clínico e prosperidades físicas, tais como tenacidade à
fratura e capacidade de colagem de força destes laminados.
This work is about a bibliographical review of articles, studies and publications that discuss about ceramic veneers and preparation techniques. The main motivation for this approach was that the author of this project works in this area, so that study could improve his knowledge for the application of these treatments. The objective of this research was to do a thorough review of the literature on Ceramic veneers and preparation techniques. With regard to their indications, contraindications, advantages and disadvantages, planning, molding, cementation, and, with special attention, the types of preparations. After a brief background addressing the use of these materials, were exposed characteristics of this technique, planning, characteristics of tooth preparation, clinical protocol and physical properties such as fracture toughness and ability to bond strength of these laminates.
