Abstract(s)
Objective: Compare various available cementation strategies for fiberglass posts, highlighting the durability and bond strength created and addressing the factors that may affect their retention. Methodology: Bibliographic research conducted in the online databases Pubmed/Medline and Science Direct. The results obtained were submitted to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Of the 524 articles found, 49 were used to carry out this review and, of these, 6 in vitro studies were selected to carry out a methodological and qualitative analysis of the literature. Conclusion: Despite their limitations, self-adhesive resin cements correspond to the best adhesive strategy. The lack of agreement among authors supports the need for further in vitro studies and, given their scarcity, prospective clinical trials with long follow-up periods.
