| dc.description.abstract | Objectivo: Comparar, nesta revisão integrativa da literatura, os resultados obtidos na utilização de técnicas de tratamentos regenerativos em implantes afetados por peri-implantite. Métodos: Foi realizada uma pesquisa eletrónica, através de bases de dados on line, como a PubMed Central e a Biblioteca do Conhecimento On line, nos últimos 10 anos. Resultados: Da pesquisa bibliográfica foram encontrados 160 artigos dos quais, após avaliação dos mesmos, apenas 9 foram incluídos e analisados neste trabalho. Conclusão: Os estudos existentes demonstram bons resultados e relatam que a aplicação de tratamentos regenerativos são promissores no tratamento da peri-implantite, contudo a evidência científica é limitada no que concerne ao êxito deste tratamento da peri-implantite, neste sentido serão necessários mais estudos científicos adicionais com uma amostra mais substancial assim como um período de acompanhamento mais longo. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Objectives: To compare, in this integrative literature review, the results obtained using regenerative treatment techniques in implants affected by peri-implantitis. Methods: An electronic search was conducted using online databases, such as PubMed Central and the Online Knowledge Library, over the last 10 years. Results: From the literature search 160 articles were found of which, after evaluating them, only 9 were included and analysed in this work. Conclusions: The existing studies demonstrate good results and report that the application of regenerative treatments is promising in the treatment of peri-implantitis. However the scientific evidence is limited regarding the success of this treatment of peri-implantitis, so further scientific studies with a larger number of patients and a longer follow-up will be necessary. | pt_PT |
