Abstract(s)
Objetivo: Apresentar uma revisão sistemática da literatura, a fim de identificar os vários
métodos de diagnóstico do bruxismo em crianças e a sua relação com a ansiedade.
Metodologia: Para a realização do presente trabalho, foi efetuada uma pesquisa bibliográfica
recorrendo à base de dados da PubMed. Foram definidos os termos de pesquisa, os quais
foram articulados com o marcador booleano AND. Foram estipulados critérios de inclusão e
exclusão para a seleção dos artigos e, no total, foram analisados e utilizados na íntegra 27
artigos.
Tópico abordado: O bruxismo é um hábito parafuncional que é caracterizado pelo ranger
e/ou apertar dos dentes. Este é mais prevalente na população pediátrica, podendo estar
associado a vários fatores nomeadamente a ansiedade, devido à sua etiologia multifatorial.

Methodology: To carry out this work, a bibliographic search was carried out using the database of PubMed. The search terms were defined, which were articulated with the boolean marker AND.
