Abstract(s)
O reimplante dentário visa recolocar o dente avulsionado no seu alvéolo devolvendo assim os padrões estéticos e funcionais. Nos casos de reimplante tardio o prognóstivo para reabsorçāo radicular é evidente. Com a finalidade de inibir tal reabsorção alguns materiais que objetivam tratar a raiz antes de reimplantá-la sāo empregados. O objetivo do presente estudo consiste em rever e avaliar os artigos que nos últimos anos foram publicados em base de dados confiáveis e que tratam da temática Reimplante Dentário Tardio e Laserterapia.
Apesar da eficácia do uso do laser como terapia em reimplante tardio estar comprovada em alguns estudos, ainda há conflito na definiçāo do real valor terapêutico do seu uso nesses casos. Mais estudos são necessários e permanece a ideia de que o aprimoramento dos parâmetros da metodologia na sua aplicação é fundamental para definirmos protocolos realmente benéficos.
The dental reimplantation aims to reposition the avulsed tooth in its alveolus thus returning the aesthetic and functional standards. The prognosis for root resorption is evident in cases of late replantation. In order to inhibit such reabsorption some materials are employed before replantation. The objective of the present study is to evaluate the articles that in recent years have been published in a reliable database that deal with the theme of Late Reimplantation and Laser Therapy. Although the efficacy of laser therapy as a late tooth replantation therapy has been proven in some studies, there is still a conflict in which it aims to define the real therapeutic value of its use in these cases. More studies are needed and the idea remains that the improvement of the parameters of the methodology in its application is fundamental to define really beneficial protocols.
