Abstract(s)

Methodology: Participation of Dentists in an on-line survey aiming to evaluate the prevalence and follow-up of DV in the clinical practice. For all the analyses, the significance level was 0,05 and IBM® SPSS Statistics, v25.0 and Microsoft® Excel® was applied. Results: Only 31,34% of the professionals contacted answered the survey (n=84). There was a DV trauma prevalence of 22,26% (n=19). Conclusion: Because of the limitations, the sample it was not a representative sample of the population. However, the previous literature endorses the study. Although a prevalence of DV cases is found, there is a tendency from Dentists to not report DV episodes.
