| dc.description.abstract | A estĆ©tica Ć© algo que interfere no bem-estar das pessoas e o sorriso nĆ£o Ć© excepĆ§Ć£o, sendo atĆ© considerado um factor estĆ©tico essencial nos dias de hoje, perante uma sociedade cada vez mais exigente relativamente aos padrƵes de beleza. A Ć”rea da estĆ©tica dentĆ”ria, encontra-se em constantes mudanƧas devido Ć evoluĆ§Ć£o da qualidade dos materiais e das tĆ©cnicas utilizadas, levando a melhorias na reproduĆ§Ć£o das caracterĆsticas naturais dos dentes. O mĆ©dico dentista tem a responsabilidade de adquirir conhecimento e habilidades profissionais para a elaboraĆ§Ć£o de tratamentos estĆ©ticos dentĆ”rios que satisfaƧam as expectativas dos pacientes quanto ao seu sorriso. Actualmente, o mĆ©dico dentista possui vĆ”rias opƧƵes para planear os tratamentos, entre as quais, o planeamento digital atravĆ©s do Digital Smile Design. O Digital Smile Design (DSD), criado pelo Doutor Christian Coachman, veio responder Ć procura elevada por tratamentos cada vez mais personalizados por parte dos pacientes. O DSD amplia a visĆ£o relativamente aos diagnĆ³sticos, melhora a comunicaĆ§Ć£o entre as diferentes especialidades na Ć”rea da medicina dentĆ”ria e cria planos previsĆveis durante o tratamento dentĆ”rio. Trata-se de um programma onde sĆ£o trabalhadas imagens fotogrĆ”ficas do paciente para a elaboraĆ§Ć£o de um tratamento estĆ©tico que responda as necessidades biolĆ³gicas, funcionais e emocionais do paciente. Este poderĆ” acompanhar e visualizar todos os passos do tratamento e deste modo, torna-se parte integrante do processo. O paciente expressa a sua opiniĆ£o e as suas expectativas quanto ao resultado final. Neste trabalho realizou-se uma revisĆ£o narrativa da literatura sobre a tĆ©cnica Digital Smile Design utilizando as palavras-chaves: Digital Smile Design; Visagism; dental planning; meaning of smile; mock-up. Os objetivos deste trabalho foi o de conhecer a tĆ©cnica Digital Smile Design, os princĆpios do visagismo e a importĆ¢ncia do planeamento nestes contextos. O sucesso de um tratamento estĆ” dependente de um correcto planeamento e de uma execuĆ§Ć£o clĆnica e laboratorial cuidadosa. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The aesthetics is something that affects the well-being of people and the smile is no exception, and even considered an essential aesthetic factor today, before a society increasingly demanding in relation to standards of beauty. The area of aesthetic dentistry, is constantly changing due to evolution of the quality of the materials and techniques used, leading to improvements in reproduction of natural characteristics of teeth. The dentist has a responsability to acquire knowledge and professional skills for the preparation of a dental aesthectic treatments that meet the expectations of pacientes and their smile. Currently, the dentist has several options to plan treatments, including the digital planning through Digital Smile Design. The Digital Smile Design (DSD), created by Dr. Christian Coachman, was a response tu the higt demand for treatments increasingly personalized by patients. The DSD extends the vision of diagnostis, improves communication between the diferente specialties in the field of dentistry and creates predictables plans during dental treatment. This is a program where it is possible to work photographic images of the patient to the development of an aesthetic treatment that addresses the biological, functional and emotional of the patient. This can track and view all steps of treatment and thus becomes an integral part of the process. The pacient expresses their opinion and their expectations about the outcomes. This work is a narrative review of the literature on the Digital Smile Design using the keywords: Digital Smile Design; Visagism; dental planning; meaning of smile; mock-up. The objectives of this study was to know the Digital Smile Design technique, the principles of visagism and the importance of planning in these contexts. The success of treatment depends on correct planning and careful clinical and laboratory performance. | pt_PT |
