Abstract(s)
A investigação, neste
No caso do Hospital do Senhor do
holística do problema fachada.
The building’s facade has always been a target of research by the architect for both technical and aesthetic parameters. Since it plays an important role in the relationship with the surroundings, constituting the interface from interior to exterior, lets you explore and investigate the concept of limit. It is responsible for the perception of the architectural object from the presented form, materials, the pace of openings and in some cases, the very reading of the interior spaces. An extremely important aspect to add to the already exposed is the issue of interior comfort articulated with the energy needs of the building, in which this element takes the responsibility of ensuring much of the thermal, acoustic and visual comfort. The research in this case focused on the facade of a hospital building, where it is considered that this aspect requires special attention on the part of the architect. In the case of Hospital Senhor do Bonfim, using BIM programs, various facade types were tested in order to achieve an optimized solution that best responds to the holistic approach to the facade problem.
