| dc.description.abstract | Actualmente, diversas mensagens sobre Saúde afloram o lazer dos indivíduos. Paralelamente, a auto-eficácia (AE) é uma variável central na promoção de comportamentos saudáveis. Objectivos: analisar a AE e o lazer de um grupo de indivíduos e explorar a relação entre ambos. Os 204 participantes tinham uma boa AE e envolviam- se em actividades de lazer muito diversas. As correlações (estatisticamente significativas) entre a AE e a frequência de diversas actividades de lazer apoiam o papel da AE ao nível dos comportamentos promotores de saúde. Nowadays, several health messages tap people’s leisure. Additionally, self-efficacy (SE) is a key variable in the promotion of healthy behaviours. Consequently, the aim of the present study was to analyze the SE and leisure of a group of individuals and the relationship between them. The 204 participants had a good self-efficacy and reported very different leisure activities. The (statistically significant) correlations between SE and several leisure activities support a role for SE in the promotion of healthy behaviours. | por |
