Abstract(s)
O presente projeto de graduação pretende abordar as dinâmicas que envolvem o grooming online, designadamente estratégias, enquadramento legal, tipologias de ofensores e vítimas, vulnerabilidades e impactos. Com o alastramento da internet, o grooming online tem vindo a proliferar, tornando esta prática criminal mais complexa e, consequentemente, mais difícil de detetar e de combater.
Assim, face este fenómeno, propôs-se um projeto de prevenção em meio escolar para divulgar o conhecimento em relação ao grooming online aos alunos, com base na educação entre pares. A intervenção junto dos adolescentes é uma necessidade premente, pois não só apenas por estes serem mais fáceis de aliciar no mundo online, como pelo facto de pertencerem a esta nova era digital e utilizarem a internet e plataformas digitais no seu quotidiano.
This graduation project aims to address the dynamics surrounding the concept of online grooming, including strategies, legal framework, offender and victim typologies, vulnerabilities, and impacts. With the spread of the internet, it has become a stage for online grooming—a concept that already existed before the advent of the internet. However, the internet introduced this new variant of grooming, making this criminal practice more complex and, consequently, more difficult to detect and combat. In response to this phenomenon, a school-based prevention project was proposed to raise awareness about online grooming among students, using peer education as the foundation. Intervention with adolescents is a pressing need, not only because they are more easily targeted in the online world, but also because they belong to this new digital age and use the internet and digital platforms in their daily lives.
