| Abstract: | The basic principles, and operations, of statistics are review as well as statistical distributions (normal, lognormal, triangular and parabolic fractal). Monte Carlo simulation and the approach for reserves assessment proposed by Bourdeaire are discussed with practical examples. Comments on WPC/SPE reserves, reserves, resources, field reserves and basin reserves are advanced. |
