Apenas foram incluídas revisões sistemáticas e meta-análises, sem limites temporais e sem limites línguisticos. A pesquisa resultou num total de 13 artigos. Resultados: Até à data, não existem evidências suficientes que sustentem o benefício terapêutico do laser, a longo prazo, no tratamento não cirúrgico da peri-implantite. Conclusão: São necessários mais estudos clínicos randomizados, com amostras maiores e protocolos bem delineados, para suportar cientificamente o efeito benéfico do laser no tratamento da peri-implantite.Objective: To evaluate the relevance of the use of laser therapy in the non-surgical treatment of peri-implantitis.
