ISSN 1646-0502. 4 (2007) 198-208.1646-0502http://hdl.handle.net/10284/446A partir de três instrumentos que primeiramente validamos para população portuguesa realizamos um estudo comparativo que analisou se existiriam diferenças ao nível das crenças sobre a violência e nas percepções sobre os conflitos interparentais, entre crianças sem (GI) e com (GII) experiência de exposição à violência na família. Foram encontradas diferenças estatisticamente significativas entre os grupos nas percepções sobre os conflitos interparentais, todavia ao nível das crenças, o estudo aponta para pequenas dissemelhanças, somente naquelas com fundamento sociocultural. Starting from three instruments that were first validated for the portuguese population, we carried out a comparative study that analyzed if there were any differences in beliefs concerning violence and the perceptions of interparental conflicts, between children without (GI) and with (GII) experience of exposure to violence in the family. Significant statistical differences were found between the groups in relation to the perceptions of interparental conflicts; however, on the level of the beliefs, the study points to small dissimilarities, only in those with sociocultural grounds.porjournal article
