These last years, differents techniques of root coverage were proposed and elaborated in order to cover this defect and to meet the expectations of the patients. A successful root coverage should require a less invasive and painless surgical technique for the best esthetic and predictable outcomes. The treatment should be easily repeatable as well. Aim: The purpose of this work was to expose the tunnel technique and the AlloDerm® graft material in order to review their associations in root coverage and to compare results obtained in the actual litterature.Introduçâo: A recessão gengival é um defeito comum que expôs a superfície radicular do dente de muitos pacientes. Nos últimos anos, foram propostas e elaboradas diferentes técnicas de cobertura radicular para cobrir esse defeito e atender às expectativas dos pacientes. Uma cobertura radicular bem sucedida deve exigir uma técnica cirúrgica menos invasiva e indolor para os melhores resultados estéticos e previsíveis. O tratamento deve ser facilmente repetitivo também.
