Para tal, passam-se em revista os princípios editoriais subjacentes, a construção do formato e o público a que se destina, bem como questões editoriais específicas da edição electrónica.By considering The William Blake Archive to be a more suitable way of displaying the materiality and historicity of William Blake’s illuminated books than their print edition, this article article discusses how the ability of this digital archive to retrieve, simulate and display different types of documents in a metatextual critical environment is changing the way scholars read, examine and study the work of William Blake.
