Para tal, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica recorrendo a motores de busca online, nomeadamente PubMed e B-On. Foram definidas palavras-chave, critérios de inclusão e exclusão para a seleção dos artigos. As restaurações indiretas têm várias indicações clínicas, no entanto, regra geral os Médicos Dentistas não realizam a reparação de restaurações indiretas, face à falta de um protocolo standarizado.Indirect restorations are increasingly frequent treatments, so when a fracture occurs, its repair is the most advantageous option as it is less invasive than replacement.
