Os padrões de beleza e os critérios estéticos dos pacientes são também cada vez mais elevados levando a uma exigência brutal sobre o clínico. A técnica Biologic Oriented Preparation Technique nasce com o objetivo de dar resposta a estes problemas, inicialmente direcionada para a prótese fixa sobre dente natural e, mais tarde, aliada à implantologia com base no mimetismo do dente natural e da sua anatomia. A forma como o clínico consegue remodelar os tecidos moles em redor do implante a partir do perfil de emergência sobre um pilar totalmente vertical, permite que exista a capacidade de melhorar a adaptação peri-implantar, promovendo assim um melhor selamento bacteriano e também uma melhor estética em redor do implante.The peri implant adjustment has been one of the biggest problems in the last years in oral rehabilition both in function and health maintenance as well as in the aesthetic level. The standards of beauty and the aesthetics criteria of patients are also increasingly high leading to a brutal demands on the clinician. The Biologic Oriented Preparation Technique was born with the objective of answering these problems, initially directed to the fixed prosthesis on natural tooth and later allied to the implantology based on the natural tooth mimicry and its anatomy.
