Abstract(s)
O presente estudo tem como objetivo analisar o papel dos serviços de informação na cooperação internacional e na segurança internacional (desde a sua criação), com ênfase para alguns casos mediáticos a nível internacional e com vista à análise da discussão da eficiência dos serviços de informação. A investigação procura compreender de que forma os serviços de informação contribuem para moldar as decisões políticas a nível mundial como também servem de escudo para a proteção da integridade territorial e da segurança internacional.
Tendo primeiramente como foco uma análise dos conceitos de cooperação internacional, segurança internacional e serviços de informação, segue-se uma análise do papel dos serviços de informação na segurança internacional com recurso a alguns exemplos. Por fim, será abordado o caso dos serviços de informação em Portugal, nomeadamente o contexto histórico e o seu papel.
The present study aims to analyze the role of intelligence services in international cooperation and international security (since its creation), with an emphasis to some mediatic cases at international level and with sight to the analysis of the discussion regarding intelligence services efficiency. The investigation seeks to comprehend in what way the intelligence services contribute to shape the political decisions at world level as well as serving as a shield to the protection of territorial integrity and international security. Having primarily a focus in the concepts analysis of international cooperation, international security and intelligence services, followed by an analysis of the intelligence services role in international security with resource to some examples. Finally, the case of intelligence services in Portugal will be approached, namely the historical context and its role.
